UVV inspections for car lifts

UVV costs for car lifts start at £120 plus materials and travel – these are already included in the price when installed by Kroemer.


How often do car lifts need to be inspected?

Car lifts must be inspected at least every 12 months. Any defects found on vehicle car lifts must be repaired immediately, depending on their relevance to safety.


How are car lifts inspected and certified?

Car lifts are certified through an inspection process carried out by experienced technicians and engineers. 
After a successful inspection, the EC declaration of conformity is issued by the certification body.

 

 

 

 

Certified & tested aerial work platforms

All scissor lifts, mid-rise scissor lifts and 2-post lifts are tested under full load and with full load capacity before sale, including the control unit and hydraulic system. They undergo at least 20,000 lifting cycles, and 2-post lifts even 50,000 cycles at full lifting height. This guarantees safe lifting of cars, ideal access to the underbody and durable support arms. All models comply with the CE standard EN 1493 – for maximum safety, long service life and optimum performance with the right hydraulic oil.
